Dennis announced that Textbook Request forms were due this Friday, October 29.  

The faculty discussed the October 22 meeting with Larry Dutto.  Dennis assured the faculty that the grant was not to rewrite the competency exam, but to improve current courses to better student success on the competency exam.

1)    Self-Study Budget Requests

        The division agreed to request the following list of items:
            Tables for Room 306
            8 TI Calculators and Overheads
            Projector for Room 204A
            Laptop Computer
            Copy Machine
        
           Mr. Morley asked Deborah Volosin to make sure each instructor received a ballot to rank the
           above requests.

2)    Summer Bridge

Chris DeFlitch and Jon Blakely presented some of their ideas for the Summer Bridge Program.  They are in the process of writing the curriculum.  A discussion ensued on the three course offerings, what topics would be covered in each class, and the length of each session.
